MedStar Washington Hospital Orthodontic Residency Program
Washington Hospital’s two-year orthodontic residency program is a postgraduate certificate program that emphasizes practical skills development through clinical, didactic, teaching, and research fundamentals. It offers clinical experience in comprehensive orthodontic care for adults and children.
The Orthodontic program is a collaborative learning experience with participation by the staff of National Orofacial Institute (a CODA accerdited major educational site), Washington Hospital Center and Children's National Hospital. This program covers:
- All aspects of comprehensive orthodontic care for adults and children
- Pre-orthognathic orthodontic care
- Cleft and craniofacial diagnosis and treatment
- OSA (obstructive sleep apnea)
