MedStar Washington Hospital Orthodontic Residency Program
Washington Hospital’s two-year orthodontic residency program is a postgraduate certificate program that emphasizes practical skills development through clinical, didactic, teaching, and research fundamentals. It offers clinical experience in comprehensive orthodontic care for adults and children.
The program is a collaborative learning experience with participation by the staff of Washington Hospital Center, Children's National Hospital, as well as National Orofacial Institute. This program covers:
- All aspects of comprehensive orthodontic care for adults and children
- Pre-orthognathic orthodontic care
- Cleft and craniofacial diagnosis and treatment
- OSA (obstructive sleep apnea)
